Chelsea FC and Brazilian football wunderkind Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior has collaborated with watchmaker Titan Black on a new iteration of the classic Rolex Milgauss to help raise money for London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
The limited edition Swiss chronometer features a lightning-bolt-shaped second hand and hours marked in Chelsea blue on a black dial, while its black carbon coating is made using military-grade particle technology that is eight times more scratch-resistant than standard steel. Each of the 25 watches comes with a vachetta leather and white suede-lined wallet and box. GOSH – home to the UK’s largest paediatric research centre – will receive £1,000 from every sale, which will support the hospital’s refurbishment, help buy life-saving equipment and fund studies into new treatments for sick children in their care.
