It is time to get on the freestyle this season as something interesting is taking place in Lagos at the Bamoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, from the 13 to 15th of September as Feet And Tricks presents Freestyle Football championship.
“Freestyle Football says Valentine Ozigbo, CEO, Feet And Tricks happens to be a game that those without interest in football have fallen in love with. Last year, we broke a lot of records as the most participated f male game in the entire world. The founder of World Freestyle Football Association was here last year, and he said we have thy have not be able to gather the number of people who attended the maiden edition anywhere in the world.”
According to Ozigbo, more interesting prizes are available to be won at the game in September. “This year we will be giving out a brand-new car courtesy of GAC Motors. The champion will be given all paid ticket to represent Nigeria and Africa in the world championship.”
The maiden edition which was tagged Freestyle Nigerian Championship has been renamed to reflect its pan African outlook hence the new name the Freestyle African Championship.
“The game is no longer for people on the streets, adds Ozigbo, last year, it was free style Nigeria, but we decided to do African Championship for 2018. Feetntricks Limited has the franchise to organize this event across Africa. We will move to other countries in Africa as the years go by.”
For the 2018 edition, several African countries like South Africa, Tanzania, Algeria, Morocco, and others will participate and it is expected to be one of the biggest events on the continent.
The event is sponsored by Heritage bank, Startimes, MTN, Sprite, GAC Motors, Air Peace, Eko Electricity Distribution company and FIRS.
