Oud Majestic’s New 14-Bottle Release Is A Rare Blend Of Oud Notes

Oud Majestic perfume store has announced the launch of its new fourteen variants of uniquely blended oud notes at the opening of its new store at the arrival hall, Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA 2) Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.

The new fragrance comes in different and exquisite bottle from mild to strong oud notes to meet the taste of oud lovers.

“Oud has been westernised. All international brands have an Oud line- Versace, Chanel, just to name a few,” explains Chika Acholonu, founder and CEO, Oud Majestic and Ruby and Pink “It is the best way to create great and unique scent. We combined different Oud notes in fourteen different scents. All the fourteen scents are bespoke and they specially curated and blended for Oud Majestic.”

For her, Oud majestic is a passion turned into a business. “It was a small scale business which I decided to turn it into a big business. We started the journey for the search of a space in MMA2 last year. This is our third outlet and I’m grateful to God.”

As a retail lifestyle store, Oud majestic offers different Arabian perfumes and other renowned international brands. “Oud is the fragrance that gives you your own scent. The smell sets you aside from somebody else. We have different fragrances from mild to strong and all perfumes here are unisex. Our perfumes are affordable luxury. If you have N5,000, you can walk into the store,” Acholonu adds.

The high point of the event was the introduction of two of Nollywood finest stars, Adunni Ade and Bolanle Ninalowo as the brand ambassadors for Oud Majestic. They are signed on for a year.

“I have always been an Oud lover. I got my first Oud about two years ago when a friend gave it to me as a gift. Since then I have been in love with Oud scents. So when this offer came, I couldn’t resist it,” says Ninalowo.

The advert campaign which was produced by Mercedes Richards is a celebration of love and living. “The Inspire Magic campaign was fun. We had lots of fun putting it together. What we want to achieve is to tell people to be a part of the Oud movement,” explains Richards.
